Message from the President
“Confectionery” is, as a familiar presence for everyone on a daily basis and you can purchase at various places such as supermarkets, conveniencestores, department stores, drug stores.
Each of confectionery is referred to as “OKASHI”, “Ochauke” in Japanese.
We call them all as “MANAGASHI”(Loved sweets) .
There are many “MANAGASHI” which are very regional and local even without a big TV advertising in many areas in Japan.
Each “MANAGASHI” is highquality, delicious and soften the people’s hearts.
We delivered such “MANAGASH” to many people with the keen eye that has been cultivated in the history since 1925.
Through confectionery, we are trying our best for everyone’s smile, strengthen the bonds and ties every day.
Our motto is to improve everyday with the “Sincerity”, which is our mission statement, and with the aim of “知行合一” (knowledge and action should go hand in hand)
We will keep trying our best in “SMILE & COMMUNICATION” to spread “MANAGASHI” to the world.

We have been doing business since 1925. Our items include small and
mediumsized manufacturer’s sweets all over Japan.
Ten salesmen cover the sales area from Hokkaido to Okinawa.
You can hear dialects of all over Japan in our exhibition twice a year.
Only 20% of local / limited sweets are sold in the supermarket and most of them are only sold locally.
The basic philosophy is “increase the customer”
It is not just to increase the number of customers but we have established the five points.
1. increase the purchase of existing customers
2. acquire new customers
3. acquire new suppliers
4. Make new original products
5. Office worker challenges the new jobs to enrich the skill to help others.
We believe that these increase the smiles and keep the good relationships.
We are doing our business more than 80 years but we will keep trying to have a hundred and two hundreds anniversary and also we are making efforts to be a global company to spread Japanese sweets in the world and sweets from the world to Japan.
